ABOUT ME

Thanks for stopping by! I’m Katie, a proud Lake County, Illinois native who lives here with my husband of 16 years and our four wonderful kids (I also have three angels in heaven). For the past 12 years, I've been passionate about capturing the beauty of families, children, high school seniors, maternity, and newborns through both posed and lifestyle photography sessions. When I'm not behind the camera, you'll find my family and me enjoying trips to Great America or exploring the great outdoors. If you’ve worked with me before, you know I’m not shy about saying “I don’t like that,” and when I say “2 more,” it usually means 10-20 shots! My blank stare just means I’m deep in thought about pose, lighting, and editing, and I take great pride in my work. Plus, I’m a hugger, so expect a warm embrace at the end of our session!
